About me
Versatile, adaptable and easy to mould into any existing team. I studied Graphic Design (Visual Communication) at Derby University so I have bags of experience and understanding in trends within the sector and an ever-growing hunger to keep up with and adapt to new trends.
I have experience with working for a Marketing Agency that involved all promotional materials including online, social, e-campaigns and website design, as well as all the usual print design involving stationary, business cards, flyers, posters, compliments slips, letterheads and newsletters to name a few. I also worked 1 year at This is Luck during work experience and also 2 years as an in-house Graphic Designer for JCB Diamond that involved me working on all adverts and promotional material, as well as keeping sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook up to date with latest offers and deals which were available to the public and dealerships.
I am a very confident person with a professional and enthusiastic attitude who quickly grasps new concepts and technical skills. When involved with my work, I am a very hands on problem-solver with creative and critical thinking skills. My working ideas evolve around long-term visions instead just thinking about the present.
Working under pressure I am a valued contributor who performs confidently, effectively and thrives on a challenge.
In my design career I have worked for design companies and agencies including; Baseline Creative, Grapevine Marketing, Blue Nectar Design, CeX:IMA (Creative Exchange: Interactive Media Agency), Edge Diamond and This is Luck, as well as working Freelance to very strict deadlines for clients such as Baker Days, JCB, B&Q, Asda Wall-Mart, Derby City Council and Balls2 Marketing as well as a few more local businesses around the Midlands such as Baker Days, Derbyshire Association for the Blind (DAB), Lonsdale Swimming Pool, Gayton Swimming Pool and The Carpentry Company in Allestree to name a few.
