Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in hope that you will consider me for the position of Photo Editor with you. I have recently successfully completed my sixth contract as a photographer with Princess Cruises. This position involved shooting portraits and events to a high standard on the ship but it was the photography off the ship which interested me more. I would be asked to shooting stock photography off the ship that we would make into prints ranging from 4x6 up to 8x12. This kind of photography allowed to be more creative and become more aware of the surroundings and it was only shooting that interested me, it was also the editing side of it. Colour correcting, cropping and making any necessary adjustments I also found as important to the actual original shot and is the reason for me applying for this position and I wish to pursue a career in this area.
