Dear Sir/Madam

I have been working for the independent production company, Oblivion Studios, since graduating from university. I have sent my CV but I have experience I feel is vital to being successful in this role that isn't highlighted in it.

I managed a number of clients for Oblivion Studios. One client was Scream Promotions, a well established PR company in the music industry. With Scream, I was able to implement a strategy of mine, to use social networking to improve artists online presence, as well as improve audiences experiences of their favorite artists online. By using platforms such as Facebook, I was able to create what can be described as an interactive channel, where viewers could not only get access to the music, but catch up with bands at festivals, on tour, and in the studio on a real time basis. By using social networking, I was able to make sure that the artists, such as Kiss, The View and Feeder, were the first point of contact for the fans as opposed to content someone else had uploaded or shared. We used Fly on the wall style videos, graphics and audio to create an ongoing experience for the audience that, through social networking, we were able to reach through their smart phones and iPads at minimal cost.

All Heart Fitness, another client of Oblivion Studios, required a number of videos producing for an online personal training service. Since working with All Heart, I have helped them to develop various ways of getting their content out to a wider market, including the USA. By developing an iPhone app, we have been able to make sure that customers of All Heart are constantly updated with the latest video content and information. The app also accesses the calender on the customers smart phone, to update them with workout and nutrition plans. This helps the trainers at All Heart to interact with customers they may not meet face to face. It also makes everything simple and convenient for the user.

These are just a couple of examples of digital content I have produced. Even though I specialize in video production, I have a deep understanding of digital content and how social networking can be used to improve how audiences engage with marketing material. I am a hard working and dedicated individual and I have extensive experience working with external suppliers on projects. As a technically minded person, I have always found it easy to articulate to people what I need to complete a brief to the highest standards. I am also someone with a great deal of experience of client interaction, especially clients who aren't as technically minded as myself.
