About me

I have just finished a 5 month Graphic Design Internship with an Interior Design company called Nochintz, which is based in Manchester and before that a 1 month placement at GYRO:HSR. I am currently working part-time as a Duty manager in the Legacy Preston International hotel whilst doing my freelance design work. My career has gone from strength to strength in the last couple of years and I would like to continue this progression.

As a Graphic Designer/Illustrator, I am a very creative person. Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography and Art are all big passions of mine, and my personal work encompasses all of it. I have a real passion for typography and composition. Playing about with Type, and coming up with new innovative ways to pull on the imagination is a big part of my design process, coincided with delivering a clear but creative message. Working from Design briefs through to end solution is part of my daily working process.

Having worked in big organisations before I know the need to pick up things quickly and feel my personality matches this ethos. I have gained valuable experience in various Design positions with knowledge of ICT solutions and protocol. Consistently a user of Adobe Creative Suite 4, I am both Mac and PC literate
