About me

I am writing to apply for the above-mentioned vacancy as recently advertised and enclose herewith a copy of my CV for your perusal.

As you will see from my CV, I have had a strong academic background to date having successfully completed a diploma and a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, both varied and challenging courses which have served to greatly enhance my skills and knowledge in this area. I am also currently employed as an In-Store Designer and Assistant Manager for O'Neill Surf Shop in Bristol. During this role I have demonstrated the ability to complete a number of individual graphic design projects in conjunction with a variety of store management and sales duties. Prior to this role I worked in a freelance capacity as a Web and Graphic Designer. During this time I successfully negotiated and fulfilled a number of projects on behalf of a diverse range of clients with services including the development of corporate identities, design of company logos and creation and maintenance of business websites.

I am a highly self motivated team player who works well both on my own initiative and as an integral part of a productive team. I am proven at organising workloads, prioritising tasks, achieving targets and meeting deadlines. I am extremely passionate about all aspects of the computer industry and as such enjoy a high level of technical literacy.
