My name is Consuelo Velez Coronel. I am writing to indicate my interest in a position for Video Editor advertised in indeed. I arrived to London around two years ago. I studied Media Studies in San Pablo CEU University (Madrid) and I was a short film director in my final degree Project "La huida del coyote (2010)".
I think my profile fits perfectly with your requirements because I have solid expirience in many differents videos as a video editor and camera operator like "Cuerda doble (2015), Performance FM 103. 1 (2014), thickear (2014), Flamenco percusión video (2013), A gusto con la vida (2013), Revolución Saratoga (2012)". These jobs allow me the chance to get skill in video editing (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere), capturing and logging the footage, transcoding formats (MPEG Streamclip, Adobe Media Encoder, Compressor...) editing rough cuts, footage research, running on shoots, filming preparation, assisting on shoots, voice over recording (Soundtrack), technical script, procesing multiclips, performing backup.
I was also working for 2 and half years as an assistant producer and video editor in the Spanish National TV in programmes such as "Lo sabe, no lo sabe" (Jun 2012/Jun 2013) and "No le digas a mamá que trabajo en la tele" (Jun/Nov, 2011) from "Cuatro" and "Telecinco" channels (Mandarina Productions, Mediaset Spain). So my expirence after 10 differents TV programs allow me to know the workflow in a production company and I learnt perfectly how to work fast and efficient after be working under high pressure on live TV programmes.
I decided to study Media Studies because I love the audiovisual world and I am very grateful to be able to work on it. I am passionate about my work and I really would like to get the opportunity to work for you because one of my big goals is to develop myself profesionally in UK and I would like to become a really good editor and post producer taken experiece from the differents way of working in UK and Spain and you can give me the chance to get it.
