About me
I am a classically trained visual artist with a diploma in Interpretive Illustration from Sheridan College. I also completed Sheridan's post-graduate certificate in Computer Animation in 2013.
I have been a freelance illustrator since 2005 and since graduating from Computer Animation, I have worked as a digital matte painter and concept artist, in both 2D and 3D for five years. I have a thorough working knowledge of lighting and colour, thanks to my classical illustration training and my experience as a digital matte painter and do indeed live in photoshop!
I just finished working with director Kevin McTurk on his latest film , The Haunted Swordsman creating concept and mattes.
A career highlight was working directly with Guillermo Del Toro. He provided art direction for the matte paintings and conceptual art I created for The Shape of Water and The Strain television series.
