About me

Hello,

My name is Colin Taylor and I have over three years experience working in the design industry in London and one year as a freelancer. Having just returned to Scotland after a year abroad, I am once again looking to harness my skills as a creative designer.

As well as having experience of art direction, set design and exhibition installation, I am extremely proficient on graphic packages such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark Express. My experience ranges from design concepts for Hugo Boss Fashion week window displays (involving freehand and computer aided visuals) to all graphics and construction specification on Disney's exhibition stand and studio sets.

I enjoy working as part of a team, as I feel the design process is never as effective from just one perspective and am able to clearly communicate with others. My ambition now is to harness my experience working in a creative design team within the graphic/product/event sector and develop a defining role.
