About me
Graduate of Ravensbourne College of Design & Communication, gaining 1st class honours for Interior design.
Previous experience includes working freelance on residential projects for over two years for small local architecture firms in East London:
LOM-FDP - 6 & half years on commercial & retail projects, including the store expansion programme in the UK & Ireland for TJX Europe.
Rawls & Co - 4 Years, I managed the Retail Delivery Team with Adam & Paul, and writing design guidelines for shopping centres and major mixed use development schemes for FTSE 100 companies. Had the privilege of working on some fantastic developments, including the BCSC Gold award winning Foodcourt at intu Lakeside, and the Phase 3 expansion of the historic Swindon Designer Outlet, Battersea Power Station Phase 1, and for the first part of the Elephant Park scheme.
Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield - 4 yrs, working as a Design Manager on Special Projects at both Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.
Now I run my own design company, Fit & Proper Design Ltd. We provide specialist design management support alongside designing buildings and interiors.
Special Skills: Feasibility studies, planning, building control, detail design and construction drawing packages. Retail design for shops and shopping centre. Retail strategic advice for shopping centres, setting and raising design standards - improving the customer experience and improving asset value.
