About me

I am seeking to embark on a career in media and would like to take
this opportunity to introduce myself.

I recently graduated from Brunel University with an Upper Second Class
(2:1) BSc. in Broadcast Media. Throughout my academic studies I was
able to learn and gain experience in a host of different areas, such
as; filming, photography, lighting, editing, motion graphics,
compositing and sound manipulation.

Being highly computer literate and a proficient user of specialist
software packages such as; Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and
Final Cut Pro. My IT skills are continually growing as I am
participating in online tutorials, reading books and online journals,
hence keeping me abreast with new technologies in the industry.

My keen interest and love for media became apparent through my Drama
and Theatre Studies. Despite enjoying performing I was also attracted
to directing and would often create and envisage images and ideas of
how one could display productions on screen and contemplating how
different aspects could be interpreted through different mediums.

My ultimate career goals would be in Motion Graphics and Animation
and/or Compositing, though I appreciate the necessity of knowledge,
training and experience. Having the opportunity to work within your
organisation would be a fantastic way to get an understanding of how
media projects are planned and executed within the industry.

I am a keen, willing and hard working person who is enthusiastic to
undertake duties within your organisation, completing these tasks to
the very best of my ability. I work well alone or as part of a team and
cope well when under pressure and when having to meet deadlines.
