About me
As a recent graduate from The University of Reading in Typography & Graphic Communication, I have a passion for the usability and understanding the audience in which I am designing for just as much as the final aesthetic of the design. I believe that successful design has a balance of these traits that I am passionate about and am striving to apply this within a graphic design role.
Print design has very much my comfort zone, enjoying the creating and making of editorial magazines, posters, and packaging products. Alongside this, I have also experienced working on web design projects including websites, wire framing and prototyping apps as well as motion graphics, and I thrive in taking on a challenge and learning as much as I can along the way.
I have a keen eye for fine typographic detail, structure and layout which I have developed while studying at Reading. I have always been passionate for colour, illustration and textures in which I apply to my designs and typography. I love the experimentation process of working by hand and developing it digitally on the computer and the experimentation process of brainstorming ideas, something I would love to bring to a graphic design job role.
I thrive in working in a team yet I am confident to undertake solo tasks, pitch and reflect on the work created.
These traits I feel I can confidently apply and reflect within a graphic design job or internship, and I look forward to seeing where these skills take me and where I can apply them within a company.
