About me

I am a designer with over 20 years of experience in the design and branding industry.

Having worked for many years as a freelance designer I have gained an in-depth understanding of all phases of the design process in all kinds of design projects.

I see myself as an all-round designer who knows what's needed at any stage of a project.

The majority of my projects are in brand development or refinement. What particularly interests me there is the notion of guiding what people think and feel about a brand; that it is an ongoing process needing continuous inspiration, investment and attention in order to stay relevant. It's never 'just a logo'.

I have worked across many different sectors, with diverse clients including Jaguar Land Rover, GSK, Nexar, Endemol Shine Group, Nokia, Brooks England, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, Mulberry, Claridge's, Victoria Beckham, Crafts Council.

I am also experienced in UI design, having created sites for Initial TV, Wild Mercury, Electric Robin, Shine TV, Rhône Services, Parisian Gentleman

Aside from hands-on designing, my responsibilities within a design studio have ranged from:

- Being the creative lead on branding and web design projects

- Leading small teams of designers and artworkers

- Managing print production from artwork through to liaising with the printer

- Overseeing web development
