About me

In July 2012 I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a 2.1 in Graphic Design. Throughout the three years of my degree I gained extensive experience interning for a number of brands whilst finding my niche as a designer through self directed and set briefs at college.

My strong interest in graphic design, fashion and imagery has compelled me to create work that makes a statement, challenges certain preconceptions or its surroundings. I love to collect imagery, objects and textiles making initial concepts into something tactile and emotionally engaging.

I am also an avid runner, reader and collector of magazines and ephemera.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, creative flair, awareness of design trends, styles and history, proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, team working ability and an understanding of brands and branding.

Sector Experience

Last summer I graduated from Central Saint Martins with a 2.1 in Graphic Design. Throughout my degree and after I have both interned and freelanced in a number of areas within the creative sector. , Design editorial work includes; artworking layouts for Swarovski's magazine '1895', book design as part of my degree work and most recently artdirecting and designing the newspaper My White Tee. This summer I interned at Jane Carr retouching and colour correcting product shots for Look Books and for the website. I also created artwork for the website and social media platforms, designed press releases and prepared content for press packs. , In the area of fashion design I have interned for Holly Fulton and Duchamp designing digital prints and bridalwear designer Tammam designing a series of embroidery patterns for the accesories range.
