About me
A recent Fine Art graduate of Chelsea College of Art specialising in Film and Video Installation. At Art School I was using a camera as a form of sketchbook; cataloguing ideas by filming anything and everything, trying to draw myself from a stagnant point in inspiration. As recording became a daily routine I saw the camera as an extension of myself, and however insignificant the subject I would capture it. Film was economical, an instantaneous visual archive from which to gather new ideas and new concepts.
Since then I have wrote for cultural publications, worked in prestigious galleries and most recently been focusing on the physical act of filmmaking; working on-set for predominantly independent productions. In artistic terms my previous film work has been largely solitary, and this experience has proven beneficial in expanding my awareness of equipment available, as well as exposing me to a wider network of experimental film makers and potential future co-workers.
