About me
My university course has created many opportunities for working within a group environment, such as collaborating in my second year with another student to create a body of work. Working in the third year towards creating a finished display of work for the Degree Show has given me the opportunity to learn a lot about how integral the displaying of artwork is.
Having completed a GCSE in IT (A), I am very competent in using computers and have used Photoshop consistently during my time at college and university. The IT section of my university course also provided me with some experience of using Adobe Illustrator.
My work for The Reading Shop has given me the opportunity to learn more about creating artwork to attract customers and sell products, as well as the process from initial idea, through creating designs and finally budgeting, completion and erection of the display.
My imagination feeds my work and has always been integral to the work I produce on my course. In my free time I spend lot of time writing, and having completed my first novel, I am currently approaching literary agents with a view to getting it published.
I am extremely conscientious and willing to learn and I can also pick up new skills quickly. I have good communication skills, improved by the critiques and seminars that I participated in during the course.
