ABOUT

To design a creative branding for a charity fundraising event.
A charity dinner to mark the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Nelson Mandela. The Icons Dinner recognised his powerful leadership and also celebrated the contribution made by 30 other important South African Icons of the past 100 years to nation-building in the new South Africa. Guests at the event were among the most successful South African businessmen and women based in London. Very appropriately, and in honour of Madiba’s very special love of children, the event was held at the wonderful V&A Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green, London.
Conveying the importance and elegance of the evening with a silent auction being held, the branding centred around using navy blue as its predominant colour. The use of line work on the event logo signified the layering of years of contribution recognised from important South Africans past and present.
On the evening the results spoke for themselves with the finalised creative giving a refined but powerful cohesive approach.

CLIENT REVIEW

Claire was an absolute dream to work with on this immense project. We spoke through the idea with Claire and she interpreted it perfectly, designed it as we agreed and gave us brilliant advice and oversaw the finish and printing too. Claire’s attention to detail and client focus is excellent and ensures the results of a project are just what the client wants - in fact in our experience the results were absolutely more than we imagined. Thank you Claire.
