About me

Design has always been a hugely important part of my life. Ever since seeing Stefan Sagmeisters work at the Tate, I have been fascinated by the Graphic Design. I have hoped to be able to find a way in which to harness my own creativity to bring my own passions to the page ever since that formative experience.

I have never imagined myself in the definite role of editor or manager; my interest lies on the grid of a page, in the details. Working on books, magazines, exhibitions during my time at university has taught me about my strengths and weaknesses. My skill is in being able to find a small interesting quirk in a subject of research and create a unique layout/motif in terms of design, as well as uniting and developing ideas. My artistic eye and natural observation have been proven time and time again where I worked on many different aspects of a project, from storyboarding and grid layout, to working on 3 dimensional stands and solving technical and logistical problems through to producing promotional and marketing materials. I have always found people appreciate my calm and considered approach to organising ideas and my enthusiasm and focus on high quality is infectious and unflagging even in stressful situations.

I thrive when working with creative individuals who share the same sense of perfectionism and attention to detail as myself.

I am always coming across things that excite and inspire me and really I am looking for a way to put my enthusiasm into use.
