About me

I am a talented Lead E-Commerce Web Designer, working for TravelRepublic.co.uk in Kingston upon Thames and I am looking for a new position to progress my career.

I have almost 5 years of E-Commercial web experience, and I am the only Web Designer among 9 Developers at TravelRepublic.co.uk.

Within my in my current role as Lead Web Designer, I'd had to become very hands on and incorporate SEO and E-mail Marketing roles on-top of my Web Design responsibilities.

I have been responsible for the SEO, UCD, Fluid CSS Tableless Design, Cross Browser Compatibility (without CSS Hacks) and Web Standards improvements for TravelRepublic.co.uk; along with email campaigns this has directly leading to increases in holiday bookings and traffic since I implemented many changes. My most recent project is a new content/brand Travel Guides which most pages rank 1st page in Google's natural search listings under the terms i.e. "travel guide to Playa Levante". Currently I am working very hard to increase TravelRepublic.co.uk usability & accessible for all customers along side larger project developments.

I previously worked as a Web Designer at First Choice PLC in Crawley, where I was the acting team leader aiding the development of junior staff members.
