Cityspace are a specialist interior design consultancy in commercial office space. We work in new build and client occupied premises.

The marketing team at Cityspace require a freelance technical web developer to assist with the implementation of our website ideas. We are a commercial interior design company with clear ideas about our new brand strategy. We have the skills to design the layout and visual appearance but we need assistance with the technical implementation. We are looking for somebody to construct our website and turn our conceptual ideas into a reality.

Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of two years experience of developing websites with other commercial companies

SKILLS REQUIRED

The candidate must be able to;

• Covert designs concepts by Cityspace to HTML5/CSS W3C.

• Provide sufficient technical design knowledge to enable the website design to maximize our visibility with search engines Google, Yahoo, Bing etc

• To ensure our protocols are compatible with the key search engines

• Design using WordPress content management systems

• Provide a website solution that is user friendly to allow our marketing team to edit content, upload images, video, documents, add/remove pages without third party assistance.

• Design our website in such a way that news and/or blog sections so that our marketing team that can easily adapted the content without input of web developer.

• Design a compatible website with apple products such as the iphones , ipad and other key android devices.

THE PROJECT & TIMESCALES

The candidate must be able to;

• Be able to attend weekly progress meetings with us in our office near Liverpool Street.

• Work on a day work basis to the completion of the project

We wish to complete this task by Christmas 2012 and will be looking to appoint the successful candidate by mid September 2012. Fee is negotiable.
