About me

I am an interior designing graduate (BA-Hons Interior) at Academy Of Design (AOD - Sri Lanka)

affiliated to Northumbria university New Castle United Kingdom.

My design career started when I first attended architecture school where I studied for one year.

However considering the lengthy nature of the course I decided to move into interior design at

AOD. My design abilities started when I was a small kid, who loved to paint a lot. I have a

captivative eye for visual creations, colors, patterns, structures, light and shade which explains my

passion for painting. I am also an adventurer, who loves to wonder around nature, learn things

every second, to pick up things for my designs. I am a workaholic and a hard worker, who always

try to win people through my work, making friends along the way. My vision, is to make people

happy with with my creative talents which I think my way of serving the community around me.

I have always considered design as a way of representing myself and my intellect as well as being a

agent for the client. Therefore I always try to strike the balance between the design concept and

also what the client need. For me a good design comes with a concept which is practical yet

ambitious. Pushing the limits and taking calculated risks are vital for me to improve as a designer.

I am a versatile designer who is up for any challenge however I have a special interest for urban

design,sustainable projects and product design.
