About me

I'm a multimedia designer and developer that has a taken a specialist interest in the design and development of websites. I focus on producing aesthetically pleasing websites which are usable and accessible. I realise these aims using a combination of creativity and web-standards.

I recently gained a 2:1 honours degree in Multimedia Technology and Design from Brunel University. The degree focuses on combining technological understanding with creative design, to produce new, exciting pieces of multimedia developed by graduates with understanding of both areas. This allowed me to use some cutting edge technologies and also have the thinking to fully exploit them.

At the present time I'm currently working at Burberry, as the web assistant in the creative services department. This involves me working with business teams all across the world to update and produce assets for the company's differing websites. These are normally on very tight deadlines and have to be designed to a standard that befits a luxury fashion house.

During university I took the opportunity for a full year of industrial placement. I completed this at Amazon.com as part of the graphic communication department in the role of junior designer. This involved me producing graphical solutions for the EU sites and also working on larger UI projects that were used across the company. During this time I also worked on re-designing mass e-mail templates and producing internal websites for business teams.
