About me

I have been a graphic designer for over eleven years. I've never lost my passion for my career, whether creating memorable double page spreads, entire magazines or colour-correcting photographs for maximum impact.

My career history shows I can lead a team effectively and am also a strong team-player - in addition, I have the adaptability, organisational skills and experience to manage and deliver a project from concept to finished publication. I strongly believe in clean, accessible design and have a keen eye for detail.

At Overt Marketing I was given a lot of control over how The Prosider magazine looked and the size of the features.

I also produced a variety of leaflets and flyers for a wide variety of companies, these were often produced quickly and built up my confidence when dealing with clients. I am very proud of both the look and quality of two major projects that I helped launch. The Community welcome pack and Business Connections magazine were fantastic projects to work on as I was given free reign to design.

Another area where I excel is retouching and manipulating photographs. I was often assigned work on complex and technically-demanding images against tight deadlines, and I took pride in delivering these on time and to the expected level of quality.

I enjoy working in busy environments and I particularly enjoy the challenges of creating new publications from concept to finished product (as demonstrated by my achievements to date.)
