About me
In my five years of studying design I have explored many aspects of the subject. In past years I have studied the technicalities of 3D illustration with pop-up and its creative application to design and my final year at university saw a focus on the moving image. These as natural progressionâ€(TM)s away from design and illustration for print yet also have positive influence upon them. I have also studied how animation, film and motion graphics can be applied to installation and reactive/interactive situations as well as live, performative medias. As a hobby I perform live visuals for British and European DJs at a club in Leeds as well as allowing audience interaction with a Wii controller. I am also working freelance with the Pixel Addicts, an installation/VJ collective creating visual content for museums and live events, such as the new Fabric club, Matter [at the O2]. I have recently been accepted onto the Communication Art and Design Masterâ€(TM)s course at the Royal College of Art to begin in September. I am also competent in the following programs; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Motion, Final Cut, Quartz Composer and VDMX.
