About me
I am a product design graduate from the University of Leeds, currently working full-time in a temporary position. I am very keen to embark on a career in the creative field. My interest in design is long standing and I feel that my degree course not only made me a well-rounded candidate but also enabled me to develop many skills necessary to undertake and add value to this position.
My degree course was wide-ranging and allowed me to develop both practical skills such as drawing/sketching, 3D image generation, model making, as well as focussing on being attuned to the real world issues designers and manufacturers face, such as legislation and business ethos and the importance of efficient research and development stages. In my final year I gained an award for best visual communication for the exhibition of my concept. I feel I have the enthusiasm and ability to learn quickly within a design company/creative field.
