About me
I am an ambitious, determined and hardworking individual who is looking to further their career working in content and social media.
From my work experience I have gained a vast number of skills that can be beneficial and relevant to a number of positions.
Working most recently at WInkBall.com, I developed strong communication and project management skills, as well as gaining a great deal of experience working with online content. Working on many of WInkBall's campaigns and projects, I was tasked in arranging interviews with high profiles as well as organising accreditation requests and arranging travel and accommodation needs for the company. In this role I had to liaise effectively with a number of people including public relations and management companies as well as my own work colleagues.
As a content editor, I was tasked in producing copy and editing and uploading content to WinkBall.com. I had to show great attention to detail in my work and display a flair for writing lively and engaging copy that met a high standard of excellence in regards to spelling, punctuation and grammar. I was also responsible for the syndication of content across various social media channels as well as developing a network of bloggers and media outlets to seed out content to. I spoke in depth to journalists about WinkBall's content and sold in stories to local and national papers about our various campaigns.
In my spare time I am also publicity officer for a local theatre society where I have to juggle a number of different duties such as organising print and radio coverage, buying and selling advertising, social media management, overseeing the production of promotional material and organising promotional performances to publicise the company and its shows.
