About me

My name is Christopher Heaton and I am a middleweight Graphic Designer with over three years professional studio experience aswell as extensive work within a variety of freelance projects. I am currently employed as a middleweight Graphic designer for Enigma Creative Solutions where I have worked for the last two years within a diverse, multi-discipline design studio. During this time I have worked as a key figure within both the 2D and 3D design faculties of the studio. This role has involved a partnering of more traditional 2D practices such as print and digital design whilst expanding my skills into a 3D arena with the conceptual development and visual installation of graphics for client exhibitions and tradeshow stands. During my time at Enigma I have also been responsible for a diverse variety of promotional print campaigns and corporate branding collateral. These projects have included the design and integration of new branding guidelines for BlackBerry across a range of print collateral and device packaging to the conceptual thinking and design of Q8â€(TM)s “Constantly Better” campaign to celebrate and promote the companies 25th anniversary. Prior to this I worked as a junior designer for London based agency, The WholeHog Design Company Ltd. Where I worked on a variety of above the line projects for clients such as 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures and Rockport Clothing ranging from widespread retail print campaigns to the identity rebranding and website design facets of the new Glastonbury Festival website. As a person I am confident, highly creative and work well inside a team environment. My previous roles have allowed me to develop not only my design skills but also gain experience in pitch presentation and receive valuable hands on knowledge of client handling. I am also assertive and punctual with excellent time management.
