About me

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the position of Freelance Writer advertised on creaqtivepool.

I am an English Graduate with a 2:1 from John Moores University, and I currently work for a large firm of solicitors; Silverbeck-Rymer. My current role as a legal assistant requires me to assist file handlers with numerous claims by sending letters, contacting clients and filing documents with great efficiency. Whilst working alongside fee earners I have created interactive spreadsheets to assist numerous teams within Silverbeck-Rymer with vetting and processing claims.

I pride myself in always doing the best I can at any job, and I am always seeking to expand my horizons and learn how to use new technology (Google Documents, Drop Box, Word Press and others). Through my spare time I have write reviews and am currently heading a project that requires me to take minutes of meetings, keep to writing deadlines and co-ordinate and co-operate with four other writers, and various artists.

As well as working on personal projects I have also been a regular contributor for the Inter-Comics website and the Inter-Comics Podcast website, and I have created and managed my own blog in the past. When writing for the various Inter-Comics websites I would contribute content weekly in order to keep up with current releases. A lot of my work has been advertised and circulated via Twitter and Facebook.

If I am a successful candidate I would look forward to having an interview to be able to answer any questions you may have about my application. I am not limited in when I am able to be interviewed and would be happy to come whenever is convenient for you; however I would request four weeks to hand my written notice to my current place of work; however a start date can be negotiable.
