About me
Hello my name is Chris Newberry and I'm 27yrs old.
I studied Sustainable Design & Innovation at the University of Derby, where I enjoyed creating and building a wide variety of products, equipment and packaging. Products I have designed over the years include a fully functioning electric guitar, which I play regularly.
I have two and a half years' experience as an industrial designer. My current position is as a Middleweight Industrial Designer for Mondelez International and I have been with them for six months, designing new chocolate moulds for sharing bars for global brands including Cadbury and Milka. My previous two years' experience were with Tesco PLC, designing equipment for stores that make daily tasks for shop floor colleagues easier to carry out whilst providing a more enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
I enjoy playing guitar, keeping fit at the gym, mountain biking, skiing and I have recently taken up snowboarding.
