About me

I have an eye for detail, with precision being one of the many elements that I strive to achieve in my work. This is fuelled by a very strong work ethic and the constant drive to attain successful outcomes across every project that I undertake.

Where possible, I look to incorporate my own hobbies and passions, such as gaming, film, and technology, into my work, as these are frequently sources of inspiration for me. I have worked on numerous print and digital projects, which often have short deadlines. Though this means I must work quickly, doing so does not impact the quality of the work and I am able to balance having a number of projects on the go at once, prioritising projects and workload where needed.

I can demonstrate an excellent ability using a range of software in the Adobe Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, and XD - as can be seen in one of my most recent personal projects, redesigning the PlayStation User Interface - and I am constantly looking to further my understanding of various programs to further that skill set. I can be relied upon to take the initiative and engage enthusiastically in my work, either as a strong team player or working independently. I take well to feedback and constructive criticism as I find this to be the best tool in pushing my work and ability further.

In my spare time, I am an avid gamer, and thoroughly enjoy developing and producing a number of personal projects. Currently, I am working on a digital platform for Virtual Photography, as well as continuing work on a number of unofficial film and series posters.

Currently, I am the Marketing Designer at SPCK. This position places me solely responsible for the creation, development, and execution of all marketing assets, both print and digital, from general poster and flyer work to motion design in the form of social media ads, video production, web design, and everything in between. This means that I must be able to be sure of my design choices while being able to work on many different projects and mediums on any given day.

More recently, I have spearheaded the creation of assets for a number of our websites to coordinate with our growing selection of programmes and imprints. Ensuring that I keep in clear, coordinated communication across several of our internal departments, as well as external developers and shareholders, has been a priority and the nature of working as a team in this collaborative way has been an element of my work that I thoroughly enjoy across the board.

My role also places me in the position to champion our many brands/imprints and, by doing so, make sure that all brand guidelines are adhered to both internally and with external partners, as well as with those who may be brought in via freelance work, such as illustrators and photographers.

While this position brings with it a lot of responsibility, as well as a need to work quickly to tight deadlines while collaborating with others, I feel that it is here that it is in such situations that I am able to take the initiative, to generate ideas, and to produce outcomes that I am proud of.
