Untamed are a new creative consultancy who help organisations liberate the natural potential of their people through clear strategy, resonant communications, rich experiences and cultural change. I was approached to create fresh brand identity which encapsulated their aim of enabling businesses to adapt, innovate and thrive at the wild frontier of progress.
I decided to use the concept of 'National Parks' and position Untamed as expert guides for their clients, using their knowledge of the 'landscape' to help navigate complex creative problems. This metaphor influenced a bespoke logotype, icon sets and flexible graphic device which were paired with a vibrant orange brand colour and a contemporary sans-serif typeface.
The result is a flexible brand that captured the correct sentiment without veering into pastiche. The simple yet distinctive visual language can be paired back for official documents such as proposals and creative presentations or made more playful for marketing purposes by transforming the graphic device into an illustration.
