About me
I'm a writer who quickly gets to the real point of a brief, grasps the nuances of a client's business and the wider market's implications. Then, I set about finding the most creative solutions - that work.
As for a brief history, I've been writing and dreaming up ideas for 16 years now - and still get excited by it.
I started out in HR comms, creating multi-channel campaigns for brands like Aviva, Unilever, Macmillan Cancer Research and Clifford Chance.
Then, I went into B2C - crafting TV ads, films, press, print and online comms at Tag. I won pitches there, and delivered work for the likes of Sony, HP, Dorchester Hotel Group, Amazon, Citibank, Gucci and Google.
Since going freelance, I've had some really interesting gigs: in-house at Eurostar, TV idents for Plymouth Gin, shaping the Unsmoke Your World movement for Philip Morris, and spending time with old friends in HR Comms. I've also written a lot of high-end property marketing campaigns.
Every job has helped me to hone the way I approach briefs, develop ideas and write long and short copy. And I'd love to put those skills to use for you.
