About me

My name is Chris Walsh and I am very interested in becoming a part of your design team as the Graphic Designer.

I have 10 year's experience working on various newspapers and magazines such as the MEN and Urban Life magazine. I was one of 3 Graphic Designers employed by MEN Media to design page templates for the property section, which included selecting images and text and I also designed layouts and adverts for both the newspaper and the magazine. I am experienced in using InDesign, Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator and my previous role involved liaising with clients and the sales department to complete all artwork related issues, I have had little web design experience just training myself at home on my own equipment but it is something I certainly want to gain experience on. In my current position at Fastrak Retail I have developed my creative skills within the production process and display stands for marketing purposes and for cosmetic retailers. This is an extremely fast paced environment and having attention to detail is essential. I am a very quick learner and very eager to progress within your company.

I Live in Davenport near Stockport so getting to work would not be a problem and I only need to give my current place 1 weeks' notice.
