I am writing to apply for the position of Retoucher (ref: SAR/EN/JN), as advertised on creativepool.co.uk

Given my related experience and capabilities I would appreciate your consideration for this job opening. Since graduating in 2006 from Coventry University in Transport and Product design, I have had a diverse range of work experiences.

I work as a freelance photographer and retoucher for a number of clients, including a highly prominent Berkshire based studio called Studio Rouge. Here I have gained great experience working on fashion, editorial, wedding, and portrait shoots. I have also worked for Autocar at the Haymarket base in Teddington as Picture editor and image retoucher. Here, as a weekly magazine, I gained great experience working in an extremely fast paced industry. Key roles included retouching work for the print and digital aspects of the magazine, including the Autocar Ipad App. I also worked as a photographer, and completed various design related work, this has given me vast experience in a number of fields and I feel this would benefit the position greatly.

I am highly skilled in Adobe creative suite and in particular Adobe Photoshop, and have learnt to use the program with great diversity. In addition, I am also well practised in all areas of design. I guarantee that I give every job 100% and beyond. I am extremely keen to learn and develop my skills at every available opportunity; you will not find a harder worker.
