About me

To whom may it concern;I am writing to apply for the position of Copywriter.I recently graduated from the University of Brighton where I received a 2:1 class BA (Hons.) in Communications and Digital Media studies. During my undergraduate studies I developed significant understanding of the Media industry in many forms including print, online or television media. As well as this I gained invaluable industry experience during two tenures within the press as a journalistic intern at two industry leading national magazines. Through both my academic career and industry placements, I have developed extremely strong written communication skills as well as others essential to the role of Copywriter. These include a developed understanding of Information and Communication Technology as well as an understanding both the role of the profession and the industry. Furthermore, the undergraduate course afforded me with a strong ethic of working efficiently as part of a team - another element of great importance with regards to the position you have available. Aside from the aforementioned skills, I feel I am suited as I am extremely keen to learn and hold a passion for both working with industry in a writing position.I believe that this combination of skills, knowledge and experience, when coupled with my energy and commitment to excellence provides the potential to thrive within the role as Copywriter.I am excited about the opportunity.
