About me

I am hard working and conscientious and take pride in doing a job well. I am very capable at working under pressure and work equally well alone or as part of a team. I can work with little or no supervision and feel confident using my initiative. I have worked for three years in a customer service environment which has given me some excellent customer management skills and experience in working towards targets and deadlines, whilst maintaining an excellent level of service. I have also worked as part of a picking team on a melon and pumpkin farm in outback Australia, sometimes being given the chance to supervise and lead the team.

I have always had passion and enthusiasm for Graphic Design and Photography, and I can't recall a time when I considered anything else as a career. I am generally good at most art forms and media, however I feel I am naturally drawn to and more confident with designing to specification. I am determined to focus on promotional graphics, corporate identity, branding, illustration and fashion. As well as a three week work placement at Reluctant Hero, a design consultancy in Newcastle, I have worked as an intern at 'There', a design consultancy in Sydney, Australia and have visited several other design groups around Europe.
