About me

My training as an Interactive Media Designer during my BSc predominantly involved the use of the CS4/ CS5 suite. Through my course of study I have become proficient in the following Adobe Products; Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Encore, After Effects, Bridge, Device Central, Color Finesse (external plug-in for AE), and Mocha (external plug-in for AE). I also have experience in using Flash Builder, Sound Booth, and OnLocation.

Using microprocessors, sensors, and actuators, through software interfaces such as Max/Msp, Processing, or Arduino, is another hobby of mine. These projects range from interactive art peices to practical home electronic endeavours.

My practical skills with cameras are strong, but I am forever looking to improve. I use a Canon XM2 video camera and a Canon 7D slr for photography.

Most modules studied put a strong emphasis on brand identity and marketing strategies, allowing me to develop market insight and the aptitude to work with clients towards a desired outcome. Modules completed involved the creation of websites (3d and 2d), writing on-line media articles, paper based prototypes/ applications, interactive installations, and many video/ effects based projects (title sequence, documentaries, music videos).

My previous work experience is also advantageous to many roles, being a mature applicant with plenty of experience in customer related positions.

Having a broad skill set and a creative drive will enable me to make invaluable contributions and I am looking forward to becoming a dedicated employee should the opportunity arise,
