About me

I love writing and I love the English language. I have written for several publications, in many different styles and tones of voice and I believe I can convince and persuade people through my prose. I have a strong writing background as I was employed as a news and sports reporter. I also work as a freelance copywriter. I have written for several national and local newspapers, sports publications, the Yellow Pages, and from estate agents to driving instructors. I am a highly motivated and thoroughly determined individual. I love to learn new skills and I enjoy pushing myself to meet new challenges. I have an excellent eye for detail and I possess good organisational and timekeeping skills. I can work equally as productively as an individual or as a member of a team. During my time at university I was elected Class Representative and I was asked to represent my course at the university open day. My work experience has armed me with many valuable skills that I feel confident of transferring to suit any situation. I am excited about the opportunity to expand my knowledge and enhance my writing ability through working in a stimulating new environment.
