About me

As a professional Exhibition and Graphic Designer for six years, I have had numerous opportunities to work on many exciting and challenging projects and produce a variety of design concepts for a diverse range of projects. Initially with Fantastic Fabrications in Edinburgh I moved down to the Northwest to work with National Museums Liverpool as part of the creative team for some of the prestige exhibitions for 2008's Capital of Culture. This includes the Award Winning Big Art for Little Artists gallery at the Walker Art Gallery.

Before this I worked as a professional Set and Production Designer for theatre and film, creating some visually stunning sets for several established theatres in Scotland including the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh and Tramway in Glasgow. It was with World Art Media Television that I worked on the Edinburgh Festival Review event in the Princes Street Gardens, working with external contractors to design and build the main stage, hospitality tents and the broadcast sets.

During the past four years I have worked on a number of successful marketing campaigns, including several exhibitions at the National Museums Liverpool and numerous theatre productions, including Oscar Wilde's fairytales adaptation, Telling Wilde Tales, which is now part of the Edinburgh Festival's marketing handbook for future productions.

I have excellent visualization skills both in sketch freehand, illustration and digital, producing quick sketch concepts to full rendered concept designs and artwork for both 3D and graphic designs. I predominately use Photoshop, Illustrator and AutoCAD 2008. I also produce working technical drawings for all manner of construction for external contractors and 'in-house' workshops.
