About me

My name is Chris, I Graduated BSc (hons) Creative Media and Technologies at the University of Bradford with a Degree classification of 2:1, I am an enthusiastic, passionate, freelance designer. I have an enthusiasm for fresh and innovative design, and have recently been looking into how I can push the boundaries of virtual reality into augmented reality.

To me design is about telling a story, communicating an idea through images and well planned text, I prefer to refer to this as visual communication, a way in which the subtleties of a design can speak to the viewers subconscious.

I specialize in Design for Print, Digital Photography post-process, retouch and digital illustration, design for web and multimedia applications, and motion feature design/animation for broadcast. I also have a moderate understanding of 3D modelling and animation under Maya and Cinema 4D,

I have a good understanding of basic web technologies, and so am comfortable with the likes of XHTML and CSS etc. I can work across Mac, Windows and Linux, although my preference is Mac.

I can use (in no particular order):

Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver, Coda, After Effects, Final Cut, Avid, Quark, Maya, Cinema 4D and Sketchup 7.

I can also use a camera.

And sometimes a pencil.
