Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to apply for the graduate position as advertised on your website. I have recently graduated from the University of Bath, with a BSc Honours in Politics and Economics.

My third year of university was spent on a full-time placement in London in the Risk department of the world's largest interdeal-brokerage firm, where I acted as the Risk representative on a variety of long-term projects. Most notably, acting upon a vague brief, I was solely responsible for the design, testing and implementation phases of a new web-based trade capture platform, working closely alongside IT developers and as the primary point-of-contact for all other support functions. I have excellent communication skills and understand the importance of building long-term relationships with clients.
