About me

Ambitious, passionate, driven, self-taught and always trying to push past limitations.. I chose real-life experience over a degree, learning as I go through research and self-development helped by those more knowledgeable around me.

With over 7 years in the creative industry, I've started at the bottom and moved up, sideways and sometimes backwards to gain skills in as many aspects of the creative industry as possible. I've worked in large, medium and small sized companies, and in every role I've progressed up as high as there was room to do so.

I've worked in large teams, managed individuals, overseen and trained groups of new recruits as well as been the sole UK designer, working as part of a global creative team. Travelling to meet with peers in Germany and USA has given a insight into how different regions and cultures work and process.

Along with colleagues overseas, I work with clients and agencies from all over the world, communicating directly or working closely with my sales representative, I always ensure there is a strong relationship built with clients. Always like to be directly involved with communication to ensure we work smoothly and there is no mis-understandings as messages are passed on or lost.

As usability and user experience/journey are the aspects of design I find most interesting, these are areas I focus a lot of time on and have a natural eye for. Understanding how the user will interact with a site, ad or marketing collateral is something I'm truly fascinated by and throughly enjoy deciphering. Ensuring every aspect in front of them will not only hit the clients KPI's & expectations, but also steer users in an enjoyable and engaging way that means they also get out what they want, is a tough but satisfying challenge.
