About me

My attached CV demonstrates my job role, ‘Samples Merchandiser for New and Current Collections'. I am grateful to Colefax and Fowler for offering me the ability to work with suppliers, make decisions worth thousands of pounds, and the opportunity to have a taste of the buying, merchandising and Interior design industry. However design is my passion and after nearly two years within this role I felt that it is more the Interior design field of this industry that I want to work within.

Before going on to a role that offered me more creativity and responsibility I decided to take six months to see the world, my travels took me to New York, South America, South East Asia, and India. I wanted to challenge myself personally and culturally. I pushed myself to new limits from jumping out of a plane to trekking to Machu Picchu (with a stomach bug). I have constantly been aware of the traditional textiles and Architectures of the countries I visited and found the whole trip very inspiring!

Being away over the last six months has focused me even more on a career within Interior design, and for me I believe a Junior FF & E role or similar within a company would be a most beneficial step to take within my career. I have all the skills required for this role and can offer much more, I have flair, drive, determination and ambition.

I am a hard working person who thrives on challenges; I can work under pressure and keep to deadlines. I am eager now to get back into a creative role within a team that can offer me the chance to grow and become an asset to your company.
