About me

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a qualified NCTJ-trained journalist with experience working in many different departments within the media industry including journalism, PR, E-commerce, reporting, communications, marketing and copywriting.

At the moment I am a freelance commercial features writer at the Trinity Mirror Group and write stories on a wide range of topics and subjects. I write advertorials for businesses and organise their pictures and editorial requests. As well as being a hard working, dedicated and well presented individual, I am a very enthusiastic learner. I feel that the role of the job would match my ability, which is built upon experience liaising with editors, producers, PRs and press officers. Throughout my time as both a trainee journalist and an employee I have always completed work to an optimum standard whilst working independently or as part of a team. The results I have achieved from previous journalism studies provide evidence of my capability, dedication, and hard work. The experience gained from working in different jobs in various locations has provided me with excellent technical and interpersonal skills. I have experience working with CMS systems and have a good understanding of social media tools. My training in journalism has taught me to work to tight deadlines and how to cope well under pressure.
