Dear Sir/Madam Im writing to you regarding the vacancy "Junior Designer" posted on * *, self-starting, confident and ambitious individual with a degree in Industrial and Naval Design. I would like to pursue a career in Design and 3D Visualizer, and I am seeking a position with greater breadth, variety and responsibility. My experience at university and in previous employment have provided me with a solid foundation. I am highly analytical, creative, innovative, and versatile, and enjoy activities that require ingenuity and resourcefulness. During my university degree I worked with different CAD programs on several projects, always bearing in mind ergonomics, aesthetics and practicality-of-use when designing a product. As a result of these projects I enhanced my organisation skills and time management as I often had to meet tight deadlines. I take great pride in whatever I do and feel that I have a sharp eye for detail. I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life and cultures, and I adapt easily to different situations. Moreover, I have been told by colleagues and managers that I am a good team player, however I am equally happy working independently. During my time as designer/collaborator at Four Handy LTD, I worked on the enlargement of their office, coming up with a proposal that met their requirements for comfort and safety, which I presented successfully to a number of executives who had no design/architectural background. In addition to being a proficient user of AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Flamingo and Photoshop, I also have a good working knowledge of Illustrator, 3D Studio and all MS Office applications.
