OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCE
I am an interior design graduate who studied at Cambridge School of Art. With a passion for design, I am a fast learner who is always up for a challenge. my portfolio demonstrates my final year project- this project was heavily influenced through extensive research on residential builds and projects across the world, including more sustainable options and examples. As a new designer my aim is to learn as much as I can to impact and change the ways we live through innovative and sustainable design.  I have just recently finished a short placement for an interior design company called Design Command, where I worked on concepts for hotels and bars. I also went on a visit to the companies wallpaper supplier factory, Muraspec. Where I learnt a little more about the industry and how it works.

OVERVIEW OF EXPERIENCE OF WORKING IN AN SME/OWNER MANAGED BUSINESS'S
I did a week placement at a small Interior Design firm called Design Command in Letchworth. Here my boss was the owner of the company, with only 2 other employees. Because it was such a small company each person had a very busy day, and I was sent to a supplier factory within my first two days here. I learnt a lot, I understood how connections within the industry were made and how ordering for large scale projects work. Time keeping became an extremely important skill to utilise whilst I was here, because although it was only a week placement I was very busy.

With all software I am very knowledgeable on keyboard commands etc to make sure I get tasks done efficiently and quickly
Autocad- 10/10. Producing technical and to scale plans, technical drawings, 2D
Sketchup- 10/10. Producing 3D to scale models often from Autocad files. I have also used this software to 3D print small structures in the past.
SALARY EXPECTATIONS
As a graduate, I value experience in a working environment a lot more than anything, however, looking at average salaries for someone in my position, I think it would be fair to expect something around £22,000 annually
NOTICE PERIOD
None- I am able to start as soon as possible
I also have my own car and drivers license so travelling and commuting isn't an issue for me
