About me

My name is Chiara, I'm 24 and I'm from Milan, Italy. After my Diploma in foreign languages (French, English, Spanish) I moved to London, where I began working in hospitality. I then lived in New Zealand and Australia, and now I'm back to England, more precisely in West Yorkshire.

I've always worked in hospitality but at some point I realised that I was stuck in it and needed a change. I've always loved photography and when I was a teenager I bought a mirrorless camera which I've been using for all these years, always as a hobby. Only recently though I took under consideration the idea to make photography my profession.

So last June, when I was in Sydney, I started an internship as a photography assistant at The Photo Studio. It's been a 3 month experience, which gave me a big knowledge about assisting a photographer and about working in the fashion area. Now that I'm back I'd like to try to find work as an assistant again, so that I can improve my skills asI think it' s the most useful way to learn.
