I am writing in regard to the position of Art Director and Design Manager recently advertised.

I believe my experience as a multidisciplinary creative with production and management experience, as a freelancer as well as part of a company, would be invaluable to the company.

My diversified set of skills, as well as creative editorial eye, would be a great asset to your company. I am driven by quality content; looking to create a voice or a story that stands out among the mass of media and demands engagement. I also thoroughly enjoy the process of taking a client's brief, directing a team whilst ensuring the creative stays on brand, casting models, and steering a final outcome. I am very interested by and consistently looking at new digital strategies and ways to innovate within the realm of digital publishing.

I have had extensive editorial and production experience with my own online fashion magazine Absorb: creating and styling fashion editorials and video, writing blog posts, curated social media, market news and managing contributors. Most significantly I oversee a range of submissions, approving final stories and content with the magazine's aims and aesthetic in mind.

Through my current role as a creative/art director , producer and stylist, I have gained a sound understanding of various aspects of the fashion and film industries including production and direction for editorial and commercial clients, conceptualising creative concepts and managing a team, interpreting client briefs with a brand direction in mind, directing a project from pre to post production and liaising with industry peers in PR, model agencies and advertising. I have proven experience directing and producing shoots for fashion clients that range from e-commerce, campaign images, lookbooks and video. I also have a special interest in the creation of fashion film as a continually developing medium.

Additionally, I have had further experience in PR, as a model booker, and in varied social media for a variety of companies, giving me a diversified skill set and broad industry knowledge.

I am constantly keeping updated on newly released magazine editorial and current trends, as well as being inspired by film, art and music.
