About me

I am Chellie and I own Chellie's creations Ltd I started my small business beginning of 2019 here is a little about me and why I started my business. I sell disability friendly clothing and accessories for children and teenagers. We have peg feed covers, Tracheostomy covers, magic absorbent pants, seamless clothing etc. We also take on orders for adaptations that may not be advertised yet.

I have two very lively and beautiful children a Y who is 6 and A who is turning 4 end of Feb. My daughter is undergoing diagnosis for high functioning ASD this has come with many hurdles which she has had to overcome. One of these being sensory and she has a lot of accidents during the day and at night. It wasn't until I was medically pulled out of work, I then set up my business with the sole intention to make affordable disability friendly clothing available to all children.

My daughter was my inspiration for the daytime and nighttime absorbent pants. As she has lots of accidents, we are washing her bedding daily! With her getting older she won't wear Pull ups or nappies. So, I designed and developed the magic pants idea which has been amazing and has helped her confidence during the day enormously it has also helped at nighttime.

I also use various sewing techniques so I can create clothing for children who are very sensitive due to sensory. I make the clothing without the bulky seams and we can use heat transfer labels instead of sewing actual labels in.

Our peg feed covers, and tracheostomy covers are all machine embroidered onto bamboo towelling and Cotton blend Jersey. These are hand finished to ensure high quality and all edges are rounded off to make it even more comfortable for the wearer. We have many designs for boys and girls available.

We also have GOTS (Global organic textile standard) and eco-friendly fabrics which can be chosen same quality just better for our planet!
