About me

I am a recent graduate from the University of Southampton where I studied Film & English Literature. During my time studying I also partook in many creative University societies where I discovered my passion for creative visual production. I have been heavily involved in many feature productions, from the initial planning and writing stages through to post-production in Final Cut Pro and promoting and screening the finished product.

In my current role as an IT Assistant and Online Marketing Executive for a high-end fashion brand, having exceptional technical and communication skills has been key in order to achieve the responsibility of these positions, which have each been delegated to me within six months of my initial employment as a Customer Services Representative.

I am now looking to pursue a career where media production takes a more central focus, in order to progress my career in a sector which I am highly passionate about.

In my current role I worked independently in the planning, filming and editing of the promotional video on my showreel, using my experience of media production gained from University, before converting and uploading for online viewing: , www.wall-london.com/springvideo-2012, Further, I am also responsible for updating website aesthetic, CMS, seasonal products and stock levels using the e-commerce web-management platform Magento, supported by HTML, CSS, MySQL, Elucid and FTP management. These skills were all self-taught, highlighting that I am adept at learning new concepts and software packages., I am also responsible for managing customer databases, processing orders and resolving online technical issues with an impeccable telephone manner. I can therefore convey my ideas and opinions well with professional yet personable attitude.
