Dear Sir / Madam

I am writing to apply for the Junior Artworker position, it was with great enthusiasm that I read about the role, the job advertised sounds ideal and I feel I have the necessary experience, skills, enthusiasm and aesthetic for the position and would love to be considered.

Since graduating in Fashion Communication with First Class Honours and being placed 2nd in the Fashion Innovation Category at Graduate fashion Week 2013 for my print and magazine design work, I have been focusing on gaining broad experience in design, and communication working in roles covering E-Commerce, press, marketing, visual merchandising, branding and editorial. Currently I am working working freelance on various design and branding projects that involve designing logos, brand identities, and photography for website and print materials. I relish the challenge of creating original design, have a natural ability to understand the ethos of the product and translate this to intelligent artistic work.

In my previous role as a Creative Artworker at Jaeger I worked across the Marketing, VM, E-Commerce departments on various different projects and asset creation from brief to development and finish, ensuring that the final product was of the highest quality. It was a varied role in which I developed a user friendly library for the Jaeger archive, retouched imagery and created new ways to use our vintage advertising and illustration. I also worked on internal document design, developing our in store customer communications, designing POS and branding with the senior graphic designer as well as working independently other tasks such as creating a film for the in store Video Wall.

Dynamic and creative in my approach, passionate about art, fashion and design I enjoy every aspect of creating a look or story. An excellent communicator and strong team player I am looking for a challenging varied role that will allow me to learn and develop existing design skills whilst creating beautiful intelligent designs in a studio environment.
